If climbing a mountain is on your bucket list, if testing your personal limits sounds exciting, or if you’re just seeking to do something epic with your life - sign up for this fourteener! This journey is life-changing. Lunch, snacks, and summit beverages are included. Additionally, hiking equipment and the shuttle from Lake City to the mountain are included!

  • Must be booked one week in advance.

  • Maximum of 10 journeyers.

ITINERARY:

Meet BE at the Lake City office at 4:00am! There, we will sip coffee, fill out some forms, and gather our gear and food! We have a 1.5 hour drive to the trailhead; though it will be dark, the views on the way back are to die for! Once at the trailhead, we’ll begin our 4 mile journey upward, taking many breaks along the way. We’ll aim to be at the summit for lunch! At the summit, we’ll take a nice long break to soak up views and congratulate ourselves (we deserve it)! We’ll be leisure on the way down so we don’t rush our epic experience. We’ll take time to observe the wildlife, wildflowers., and smell the incredible fraser and balsam firs. Once down at the car, we’ll chill and eat a snack before driving one more hour down the mountain. Hey, congratulations! Climbing a mountain is HARD! We just hope you loved it as much as we did. LOGISTICS:

Meet BE in Lake City at 4:00am! Flying? Montrose, CO is the nearest airport at two hours away and Denver International is the nearest major airport at five hours away. Welcome to the most remote county in the United States! BE recommends booking a return flight for the day after our climb.

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY:

  • Journeyers who cancel their journey 90+ days before the start date will be refunded the total amount minus processing fees and the $250 non-refundable deposit.

  • Journeyers who cancel their journey 30 to 90 days before the start state will be refunded half the total amount minus processing fees.

  • Journeyers who cancel their journey less than 30 days before the start date will not be refunded.

  • Participants who choose to leave an active journey for any reason are not entitled to a refund. Due to the nature and heavy costs of operating permits, BE must adhere to the above itinerary and refund policy.
